The removal of the hair follicles from the hair ring remains the same with every hair transplant technique.
After local anesthesia, the hair follicles (grafts) are removed one by one from the donor area (hair ring) with a thin, hollow needle. 1 graft consists of 1 to 4 hairs.
These hair follicles are first placed in a special growth fluid and are transplanted to the target area on the same day.
A hair transplant takes between 6-8 hours, depending on the number of transplanted grafts. There are breaks in between.
